La Trobe ISACA Student Group

ISACA is an independent, nonprofit, global association that engages in industry-leading knowledge and practices for information systems.

The ISACA La Trobe Student Group is a student-led community dedicated to empowering La Trobe students who are passionate about cybersecurity, information systems, IT governance, risk, and audit. As part of the global ISACA network, we aim to bridge the gap between academic studies and professional practice by offering opportunities to gain real-world skills, build meaningful industry connections, and explore diverse career pathways.

Our mission is to foster a collaborative learning environment where students can thrive—both technically and professionally. Through workshops, networking events, guest speakers, and hands-on activities, we support our members in developing the knowledge, confidence, and experience needed to succeed in the ever-evolving tech and cybersecurity landscape.

We’re focused on building a vibrant, engaged community—one that not only deepens students’ technical expertise but also strengthens their readiness for the workforce. Whether you’re just starting out or already set on a career path, ISACA La Trobe is here to help you grow, connect, and lead.
